WE ACCEPT submissions on a wide variety of topics, and in a wide variety of forms. We ARE NOT particularly interested in politics, finances or sports - unless you happen to have a unique, interesting angle on them!
The following is a guideline; if you have something that falls outside the guidelines, send it anyway! Who knows? We just might be interested.
*If you are including a lot of pictures, the text content will be less due to space restrictions.

FICTION: Generally, we prefer 500 to a max. of 3,000 words. We do not have a 'preferred' fiction genre or genres; we are willing to consider any and all.

POETRY: All lengths and styles will be considered, though shorter ones are easier to find space for.

HUMOUR: A short joke, or a humourous story of up to 1,500 words.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY: Art in any style, on any surface from canvas to shoulder blades to gas tanks will be considered. Send as many pictures as you like; if accepted, we'll print a maximum of 6 in any one issue, but may space them out over several, with your permission.

NON-FICTION: This is a wide-open category for anything that interests you. The following is a selection of possible genres; any and all others will be considered.
Opinion/Observations: Short rants about the things that drive you crazy; observations on the state of the world. Personal views on any subject . . . Max. 500 words.
Reminiscences: Memories you'd like to share . . . About 500 to a max. of 1,500 words.

Character Sketches:  250 - 1,500 words.
Social Issues:  500 - 1,500 words.
The Arts:  Stories about writing & publishing, visual arts of all kinds, music & performing arts:

500 - 1,000 words with pictures, please.

Ecology:  250 - 1500 words.
Animals/Wildlife/Nature in General:  Max. 1,000 words with pictures, please.
Alternative Health:  500 - 1,500 words.
Travel/Culture:  Max. of 750 words, with pictures, please.
History:  Max. of 1,500 words.
Mythology/Mysticism/Divination:  1,000 words max.
Food & Drink:  Recipes max. of 250 words. Features: up to 1,500.
Local Art Spots:  Max. of 500 words.

Uncategorized General Interest Stories:  500 - 1,500 words preferred.

We also accept "odd spots" ('news of the weird'), original cartoons, events announcements that relate to the Arts, suggestions(!) and feedback.
